1.2

In one true God who manifested himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption and Holy Spirit in the Church (Deut. 6:4-5; Jhn. 4:24; 1Jhn .5:20).

1.3

That the Church represents the Body of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23). To be a member of the church one must believe, accept baptism in the name of Jesus and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:12-27; Gal. 3:26-28; Rom.6:3-8; Jhn.3:5; Acts 2:38).

1.4

That man was created in the image of God (Gen.1:26; Gen.2:7; Gen.2:22) and that he created the heavens and the earth and all that dwells therein (Gen.1&2; Isa.42:5)

1.5

That all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Gen.2&3; Rom.3:23) and that God took on flesh to became as man to redeem mankind from sin through his life, death, burial and resurrection (Jhn.1:14; Jhn.3:16-18) This act gave mankind forgiveness of sin and eternal life to them that believe through faith (Heb.11:6; Rom.1:16-18).

1.6

In the sacrament of water baptism of all believers by full immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins and entrance into the Kingdom of God (the Church) (Jhn.3:5; Acts 2:38; 8:12-17; 10:47-48)

1.7

In the sacrament of baptism of the Holy Spirit for all believers with the evidence of spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, as a sign of the indwelling Spirit of Christ (Jhn.3:5-8; Rom.8:9; Mk.16:17; Acts 2:2-4; 1Cor.12:4-11)

1.8

In the sacrament of the Lord's Supper instituted by Jesus for an example of commemorating his death on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for mankind’s sin and redemption. We observe this sacrament from time to time in accordance with (1Cor 11:23-32; Luk.22:28; Matt. 26:26-29).

1.9

In the ordinance of ‘feet washing’ instituted and commended by Jesus for our example to demonstrate brotherly love and humility amongst believers (Jhn.13:4-17; 1 Tim. 5:10). This we do from time to time.

1.10

In the biblical principle of giving, practised throughout the Holy Bible, as tithes and offerings. These proportionate contributions are designed to support the ministries of the church, help the disadvantaged in all areas of life worldwide (Ex.25:1-5; Num.18:20-26; Gen.14:18-20; Lev.27:30-32; Mal. 3:6-10; Gal. 3:29; Matt.23:23).

1.11

In the teachings of Jesus that there is a gate that leads to eternal life and a gate that leads to eternal destruction (Matt.7:13-14) which is a parable for the fate of all mankind.

1.12

In the baptised, Spirit-filled and transformed life of the believer who endeavours to live a sanctified, sin-free lifestyle through their body, soul and mind which conforms to the image of Christ (Rom.6:3-23).

1.13

In the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church in the rapture (1Thess.4:16-17). We also believe that (a) Christ shall come and reign and establish his earthly millennium Kingdom (Acts 1:9-11; Rev.20:6) and (b) there shall be a new heaven and a new earth (2Pet.3:10-14) where we will obtain eternal life through faith in God to them that believe.

1.14

In the sanctity of marriage, as a lifelong exclusive commitment between one man and one woman (Gen.2:21-24).

(2)

The basic and fundamental doctrine of this church shall be the Holy Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Therefore, our doctrine, faith, hope and all instructions for the church is based on the principles of the Holy Bible.
